Welcome to Medsync ("Medsync," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Medsync platform, including our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Definitions
"User": Any individual using Medsync, including patients and clinic staff.
"Clinic" or "Provider": Healthcare professionals or organizations using Medsync to communicate with patients.
"Service": The Medsync platform, including insurance matching, HIPAA-compliant messaging, and appointment/refill request tools.
2. Eligibility

• Users must be at least 18 years old.

• By using Medsync, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

3. Services Provided

Medsync provides tools to support communication between patients and clinics, including:

  • Insurance matching and support
  • HIPAA-compliant, auto-translated messaging
  • Refill requests and appointment scheduling tools

Medsync is NOT:

  • A replacement for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • An electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • A substitute for emergency services (call 911 in an emergency)
4. Patient Information & Insurance

• Users agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding their medical history, insurance coverage, and communication preferences.

• Medsync may transmit this information to partnered clinics and providers only with user consent and in compliance with HIPAA.

• Medsync is not responsible for the accuracy of insurance eligibility, claim decisions, or provider determinations.

5. User Responsibilities

• Users must keep login credentials secure.

• Users must not misuse the platform or provide false information.

• Users remain responsible for consulting licensed providers for medical care.

6. Privacy & HIPAA Compliance

• Medsync complies with HIPAA for all protected health information (PHI) transmitted through the Service.

• Users consent to the secure collection, storage, and sharing of their information as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Payment & Subscription Terms

Patients: Medsync is free for patients.

Clinics: Clinics may receive a one-month free trial. After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription (pricing details provided separately).

8. Intellectual Property

• Medsync, including logos, software, and content, is the property of Medsync.

• Users may not copy, distribute, or resell the Service.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

• Medsync is not liable for medical outcomes, insurance coverage decisions, or delays in service.

• Medsync disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion if these Terms are violated.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12. Changes to Terms

• Medsync may update these Terms at any time.

• Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the changes.
